Hello people!! OK like I said, I've blogged about the ICCE in my blog so if you wanna read it, you can go to my blog. And in case my other posts overlaps my ICCE posts, I've labelled the posts so you can look for it under labels :) And I will post more pictures if I have the time cause I've so little time and so much to do. TREE THEATRE GROUP
Tree Theatre Group (also know as TTG) is an NGO group.
TTG consists of children and parents that are active in the environment work.
TTG was formed on the year 2006, doing an eco-play titled 'Tears of Trees' for the UNEP Tunza International Children's Environmental Conference which was held in Putrajaya Malaysia. The song 'Pokok-pokok' has became a campaign song for the United Nation's UNEP Billion Tree Campaign.
On the year 2007, TTG was invited to perform an eco-play at the opening ceremony of the 24th UNEP Governing Council Miniterial Meeting in Nairobi, Kenya.
TTG performed their latest eco-play "The Last Tree on Earth" at the UNEP Tunza International Children's Conference om Starvanger, Norway on the year 2008.
The idea for a World Tree Day (WTD) came from children's who said that most of the 'Days' being celebrated came from adults and that the TREE is an environmental icon they can relate to.
